SAFETY FIRST!!!
At Kennedy International Sports Camp we make safety a priority, and we have the experience to prove it. The Directors of K.I.S.C. have had First Aid and C.P.R. training. Additionally, Kennedy International Sports Camp starts with an introduction to safety where we discuss rules and regulations to ensure your child's safety. Unfortunately some injuries cannot be avoided; that is why our team is prepared to act quickly and calmly in case of an emergency.
K.I.S.C. Disciplinary Plan
The Kennedy International Sports Camp is meant to be a fun and educational opportunity that offers a wide variety of sports and activities. For the benefit and safety of all students, it is important that children behave appropriately while participating in the camp. The K.I.S.C. staff will deal with the normal day to day minor behavioral problems. Excessive and very disruptive behaviors, such as physically or verbally hurting other children, property damage, stealing, use of foul or vulgar language, or leaving camp grounds without parental permission, will be handled in the following manner:
• First Time – The child will review his/her actions with a member of the staff
• Second Time – The child will be removed from activities for a period of time and the parents will be notified
• Third Time – The child will not be allowed to enter the program for a minimum of one day
• Fourth Time – The child will not be allowed to return to the program for the duration of the camp
In extreme behavior cases wherein another camper or staff member is determined to be at risk, K.I.S.C. directors reserve the right to move immediately to a higher step of the disciplinary plan, if such action is deemed necessary. No refunds will be given if a camper is removed from the camp for disciplinary reasons.
